Clinical Approach
I work from an eclectic theoretical perspective. This means I might help you identify thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are self defeating (cognitive-behavioral), or support you in processing your past so that you can engage more in your present (psychodynamic), or ask you to tell me about the "story" of your life (narrative therapy).
To relieve stress, we might explore deep breathing and relaxation (mind/body).
It's possible that some or all of these, or other methods not mentioned here, might come into play.
Most importantly, I come from a humanistic point of view, perceiving and respecting you as a unique individual.
